Operations Manager β Multifamily Brokerage & Light Property Management

What We're Looking For:
- Proactive communicatorβcomfortable making phone calls when needed and following up to ensure tasks are completed.
- Strong follow-up skillsβconsistent check-ins via phone and email to keep transactions and operations moving forward.
- Experience in commercial real estate (multifamily brokerage preferred).
- Knowledge of transaction coordination, escrow, and contracts.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools.
- Bonus: Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium, etc.)βnot required, as our management needs are simple.
- Must be able to commute to Encino, Los Angeles. Full-time in-office is preferred, but part-time in-office will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Brokerage Operations & Transaction Coordination (Primary Role β 30-35 hrs/week)
- Oversee transaction workflows from listing to closing.
- Manage compliance, document processing, and escrow deadlines.
- Support a team of six junior associates with CRM and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate marketing materials, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Follow up consistently by phone and email with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure smooth transactions.
- Handle day-to-day brokerage operations to improve efficiency.
Light Property Management (5-10 hrs/week)
- Handle tenant communications, lease renewals, and rent collection.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor management.
- Maintain financial records and assist with monthly reporting.
- Ensure compliance with LA rental regulations.
