The firm manages three open-ended alternative asset funds, specializing in special situation real estate bridge loans nationwide. Position Overview

The Associate will be responsible for overseeing owned real estate assets, including coordinating with management companies and operations teams.  The Associate will also work with the loan servicing team on operational matters, including construction projects. This role requires frequent interaction with property managers, borrowers, and attorneys to manage GreenLake’s interests. The ideal candidate is adaptable and proficient in handling operations  and servicing matters across diverse asset classes nationwide, including hospitality, multifamily/condo, event facilities, etc.  Must have experience working in or closely with operating businesses.  Hospitality experience is a plus.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual business plans.
  • Oversee property management, construction, leasing, and marketing. 
  • Work on asset acquisitions, dispositions, and development initiatives.
  • Negotiate property-level agreements, including leases, amendments, listing agreements, and property management contracts.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, with a focus on office properties.
  • Knowledge of real estate operations, leasing, and marketing.
  • General understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Familiarity with construction, particularly asset repositioning and modernization.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in tenant mix analysis, property performance, and operations.
  • Strong negotiation and teamwork abilities.
  • Background/credit check required.
